Program description
Cellular Doctor - Cell Phone Repair operates a one-to-one, transactional SMS program that sends customers text messages about their device repair. Messages include appointment confirmations, repair status updates, estimate approvals, and pickup-ready notifications. This program is not used for marketing or promotional messages.
How to opt in (Call-to-Action)
Customers opt in on our booking form at charlottecellulardoctor.com/book by actively checking an unchecked SMS consent box before submitting their repair request. The checkbox is never pre-selected and consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Exact opt-in language shown next to the checkbox:
“By checking this box, I agree to receive text messages from Cellular Doctor about my repair, including status updates, appointment reminders, estimates, and pickup notifications. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.”
Customers may also opt in by texting our business number (704) 905-5893 first, or by verbally requesting SMS updates in-store, in which case a staff member records the consent in our repair-ticket system.
Message types & sample messages
- Booking confirmation: “Cellular Doctor: Thanks {Name}, your repair ticket {TicketID} is booked. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply.”
- Status update: “Cellular Doctor: Your {Device} repair is in progress. We’ll text when it’s ready. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- Estimate approval: “Cellular Doctor: Estimate for {Device} is ${Amount}. Reply YES to approve or call (704) 905-5893. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- Ready for pickup: “Cellular Doctor: Your {Device} is ready for pickup at 7146 E Independence Blvd B. Open until 7pm. Reply STOP to opt out.”
