Repair warranty

Every repair performed by Cellular Doctor LLC dba Charlotte Cellular Doctor is covered by a written warranty. Where we advertise a "limited lifetime warranty," that phrase means the terms described on this page — it is a limited warranty on the specific part and labor we supplied, not an unlimited guarantee against all future damage.

What is covered

• Screens (Soft OLED / Premium OLED / OEM): limited lifetime warranty against defects in the replacement display, such as dead pixels, touch failure, backlight failure or discoloration not caused by damage.
• Batteries: 6 months against premature failure or abnormal swelling of the replacement battery.
• Charging ports, cameras, speakers, back glass and other parts: 90 days on the replaced part and the labor to install it.
• Board-level, water damage and data recovery work: 30 days, because prior liquid or electrical damage can continue to progress.

The warranty covers the specific repair we performed on the specific device, is valid for the original customer only, and is not transferable.

What is not covered

• New physical damage — cracks, drops, bends, crushed frames or pressure marks after the repair.
• Liquid or corrosion damage occurring after the repair.
• Unrelated faults, pre-existing faults disclosed at drop-off, or normal wear.
• Software issues, iOS/Android updates, account lockouts, malware or data loss.
• Devices opened, serviced or tampered with by anyone else after our repair (including removed or broken warranty seals).
• Devices with missing screws, prior third-party repairs, or damaged frames that we noted at intake.
• Loss, theft, or damage caused by misuse, third-party accessories or chargers.

How to make a claim

1. Bring the device to 7146 E Independence Blvd B, Charlotte, NC 28227, or call (704) 905-5893 to arrange pickup.
2. Bring your receipt or the phone number/email used at booking so we can look up the ticket.
3. We inspect the device at no charge. If the fault is covered, we repair or replace the part at no cost to you.
4. If inspection shows the fault is excluded above, we will quote a repair before doing any work.

Back up your data before any warranty service. We are not responsible for data stored on the device.
